The tomatoes finally, hopefully ripen (usually coinciding with beach week.)
Fall clothes appear in the stores, and a cardigan at night sounds nice.
Shiny new school supplies are packed up, getting ready.
Knitting starts to sound a wee bit appealing again.
Stone fruit fills the fruit bowl.
Everyone grooves on our summer rhythm.
