I bought his book, The Art of Bread, in the fall after taking up Molly's challenge with gusto. Funny thing though, the book I use the most is Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. I just made a batch of olive oil bread dough today to be baked tomorrow. Photo to follow.

I love the idea of making our own bread, but we are lucky enough to get free bread every Tuesday night from a local bakery, so it isn't worth it. (One reason why I bought a humungous freezer.) It all looks so lovely though....
"Bread is solid beer; beer is liquid bread" Ahhhh. Now i understand this fascination of mine. Good man, Reinhart. I love how he gets poetic and philosophical about baking. God love him.
